How to Place Your Order 

Once you’ve chosen your preferred delivery day(s) and meals, you can place your order in one of two easy ways:

 

Option 1: Order Online

You don’t pay on our website.

Once we receive your order, we’ll send an invoice based on your pricing arrangement, including any government subsidies. If anything needs clarification, we’ll give you a friendly call. 

 

Option 2: Order Using a Printed Form

Frequently Asked Questions: Start Your Order

 

How do I start my order with Newcastle Meals on Wheels? 

First, register with us to create an account. Once registered, you can login to our website and place your order online, or, you can use a printed menu form. You’ll select your meals and preferred delivery days, and we’ll take care of the rest. You can also call us to register. 

 

Can I order meals without registering first? 

No. You need to register so we can provide your login details, confirm your account, and ensure we meet your dietary, pricing, and delivery needs. [Link to How It Works page] 

 

Can I order online? 

Yes! After logging into your account, select your delivery days, choose your meals from the seasonal menu, and submit your order. No payment is required at the time of ordering - we will invoice you afterward. 

 

Can I order using a printed menu? 

Yes. Download and print the menu, tick your preferred meals and delivery days, and return it to us via email (photo or scan), in person at a branch, or by post. 

 

When will my meals be delivered? 

Delivery occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, between approximately 9am and 11:30am. Our volunteers also provide a friendly Wellbeing Check during delivery. [link to Wellbeing Checks]

 

Do I need to pay when I place my order? 

No. After your order is submitted, we’ll issue an invoice that reflects your pricing arrangement, including any government subsidies. 

 

Can I change or cancel my order? 

Yes. Our service is flexible - simply contact us if you need to adjust your meals or delivery days.

Absolutely. You can place an order on behalf of your parent or loved one, ensuring they receive fresh, nutritious meals and a Wellbeing Check at home. 

 

Are there options for special dietary needs? 

Yes. We cater to vegetarian, gluten-free, low sodium/potassium/carbohydrate, texture-modified, Mini Mains, culturally diverse meals, and others.
